It's been great. Since the first session I regained my sleep. My confidence
has come back, my mind isn't traveling at fast speeds anymore. I find myself
being really calm. Things that might have bothered me in the past don't
anymore. I don't overeat because of anxiety anymore. I have peace of mind.
It's been a great experience. The best part of it is that I got to the root
of my issues faster than I would have in years of therapy. People around me
have also noticed the difference in me.

I just have positive feedback about this experience. I will recommend it to
anyone that wants a change in pace in their life and for whoever wants to

Wow. You're amazing. Since Tuesday, to say that I've noticed a difference in my overall sense of well being, would be a gross understatement. Almost immediately after our session, I realized how different I felt; An innate sense of peace flooded me from within. I literally cannot remember when I last felt like this...maybe years? I honestly cannot remember.

Because I did not have any preconceived notions of what to expect during our session, I made a list which i divided into two parts; the first half listed all of my goals. The second half listed items which I thought would be worthy of discussion during our meeting. My personality has also changed drastically. I used to get very irritable for no apparent reason. I would lose my temper over the smallest of things especially with my 12 year old son. He would ask me what was wrong. I was unable to answer him. Often it felt as if someone else was speaking through me. I seemed to have no control over this behavior.. This was very inconsistent with the way I truly felt. I no longer have these angry episodes. I am calm and am listening without any effort. My son asked me what has changed because I am now able to listen to him without getting angry. I have been so angry, often about so many things my family, feeling victimized, feeling weak, being unable to focus, etc ... that I was unable to enjoy the simpliest pleasures of life. Now I am calm, CALM. Dear John,

I am not sure where to begin. When I came to see you I was a nonbeliever. I didn't think that hypnotherapy worked. I didn't think that I was susceptible to the suggestions. I was so scared of spiders that I couldn't even say the word. I would see one on TV and I would scream and turn off the set. If I saw one in real life, I would freeze up. Hi John,

I just wanted to thank you for your tremendous help through hypnotherapy. I have spent
more than fourteen years struggling with bulimia, disordered eating and a poor and volatile
body image. Even after years of studying psychology, I could not figure out why I continued
to succumb to self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. I felt like my mind was working against
itself. I had undergone hypnosis before, but it was ineffective because it did not deal with the
reason these thoughts and behaviors were occurring.

I'm coming along quite well. It's just so strange that I've had to adjust to not feeling anxious

Dear  John,
I wanted to thank you for being so understanding yesterday  and for the experience in general. I am a skeptic by nature and you made me feel extremely comfortable. I feel I was a bit resistant at times or perhaps was trying too hard during the hypnotherapy but it was a very powerful experience and I feel it was beneficial. There are more areas that I would like to cover but it felt like I got more out of one sitting with you than in 10 sessions with my therapist. After the session I was trying to reserve judgement about how I felt because it might be easy to convince myself that I felt better or that there was some kind of change. This morning I still feel the way I did when I was driving home yesterday. My mind is quiet. The noise and the chaotic thoughts are gone. I  can deal with singular emotions, singular tasks, or stimuli one at a time without distractions from inside my head. I can read, write, listen when people speak, understand lyrics in songs on the radio, and understand my individual thoughts and feelings without 1000 other things bouncing around my skull. I have been doing a lot of studying recently about centering myself, quieting my mind, and leading a more spiritual or less ego-driven life. The readings have helped me but I thought the results would be short-lived because I thought I was too damaged to ever be well. I couldn't settle my mind down enough to meditate or to read for more than short bits at a time. I feel like I'm really on to something now. While it has only been 18 hours since our session, I am genuinely hopeful for the maybe the first time in my life. I wish I could laugh or cry but I am so calm that I want to just savor the quiet. It's truly remarkable. I wish I had known about this process years ago. I will call you on Monday to discuss our next session.

John, do you mind me being so formal? At 38 years old, my marriage of 18 years was basically a formality at this point. My husband and I no longer spoke. We did not touch. The affection between us was long gone. We were essentially roommates existing under the same roof. I did not expect too much from our sessions together. Thank you John. I am truly a different person than the nervous, angry, cared, and overly pessimistic woman who first walked into your office. I was a wreck to say the least.I had seen a hypnotist in the past for smoking, but she had shown me very little compassion in our brief 45 minute session and she seemed more concerned in trying to sell me a package of 5 sessions, then listening to me.

I must admit, as you can surmize, I was very skeptical and was almost turned off about hypnosis after my encounter with this woman. When I mentioned this to a friend, she highly recommended your center. She told me the sessions at your center lasted for 2-5 hoursI Again I was very skeptical but I was at a low point in my life and I took a chance. I came in to your office,one very mixed up woman. I was fearful, unable to sleep at night and I had barely the ambition to get up and dressed for work in the morning. John, when I walked in to your center, your sincerity and friendliness set me to ease immediately. I must admit, I don't open up very easy to talk about myself.. But you are very easy to talk to and for the first time in my life, I felt immediately comfortable and welcome.

After our first session (which was an incredible 5 hours long, and I had no clue as it seemed like time stopped), that night when I returned home, my husband was the first to comment. He remarked I slept SOUNDLY at night. I did not grind my teeth in my sleep at all, which is a first. My husband is enjoying the benefits as much or more than me because he is a light sleeper.

I find my uncontrolled bouts have totally subsided. I would work myself into a silent rage at my place of work and get frustrated or upset and imagined wrongdoings and whenever I saw my co-workers looking at me, I felt they were always talking about me.

Our second session was very intense. I can't begin to describe the emotions that I experienced. The following day, I telephoned and spoke with my sister whom I haven't spoken to in 6 years. We have remarkably made up and it was a very teary and emotional phone call. During our previous day's session, I realized how much anger I was still harboring inside over a foolish childhood incident between us. And John, just like you said, The third session I had was the clincher. I am finally at peace with myself. The negative voice that constantly critisized me is gone. The blame was gone. I realize, no one but me was sabotaging my relationship. Those feelings had previously controlled my every waking moment before. I can't begin to thank you.

I love the meditation CDs that came with my sessions. Listening to your gentle voice every now and then triggers a new strength in being able to cope with daily life, feeling more empowered.. John, let me tell you about something that happened in February of this year. I think I finished seeing you the second or third week of January. I went on vacation and came back February because I was called into a pilot audition for ************ with its head casting director for the east coast.

John, I felt great. Truly. Everything was easy and going into this audition I felt alive. I felt confident. I sat there in the waiting room and I couldn’t wait to do it. Why? Because it was no big deal. I was just there and I saw how nervous the other people were and I smiled to myself because that wasn’t me anymore. I was relaxed, like I was sitting at a bench near a pond. Focused on my thoughts knowing I was about to do something, but knowing I had no control over how it was coming out, and I didn’t care. I was just going to go in and be me. I went in with ********* *********** and read, and afterwards, ********** , the casting director, looked at me, and said, "Erick, that was excellent."

I got the call from my agent because they were friends, that ********* really did think I did a great job. When I walked out of that office, John, I was on fire! I was so relaxed, and I thought to myself, "so this is how people do it. It’s just an audition, no big deal." It was like I could plan the rest of my life. I was just me, everything else would take care of itself. I was fearless. It was amazing. I thought about other creative projects I could work on. My energy was off the charts! When I was in there, I wasn’t focused on managing the anxiety....or managing the fear... I wasn’t wondering "where I was" or how it was going to come out. I just knew it was going to be me and it was going to be good. It was.. It really, really was...and I know the hypnosis had everything to do with it.

This letter is a long time in the coming, however things have finally settled down and I am able to sit here, gather my thoughts, and send along a much deserved thank you for your help with me this past year. Just know this isn't going to be a 'he lived happily ever after' thank you. Personally, I think it is more exciting than that.

As you know, I'm an actor. I've been living in the city for 6 years now, and wrestled with pursuing my dreams every single day I was there. For the first few years, I lost. It wasn't any particular thought that kept me from doing what I loved, it was a feeling, or even a sensation. I wouldn't understand why it was occurring, yet when I looked around and found myself in a place completely the opposite of where I wanted to be, I started asking questions, and the worst question to ask is the one I heard myself saying the most. What is wrong with me??

All I would have to do is wake up in the morning, and before I could get dressed, I found reasons to not walk out the door, and even worse, reasons to not go to class or an audition, or whatever. Why was acting so difficult for me to do? I don't know. But because I loved it so much, I did fight my way through a lot of struggle, and tried very hard to change my ways. After about 3 years of being in the city, I managed to get to a place where I was doing it. The 'sensation' would still occur though, and as hard as I tried to not have it happen, it would send me into a funk. I just chose to press forward, and try as hard as I could to not pay attention to it.

Ultimately, what I discovered was that I was battling something that wasn't even there. The sensation I would feel was generated by thoughts that had no substantiated basis from which to come. Those thoughts were very negative in tone, and no matter how I tried, I couldn't seem to make them go away. Powerful as they were, I still believed they were just thoughts, and continued to press forward with pursuing my dream. However, the harder I tried to move forward with my career aspirations, the stronger and louder the thoughts became. By the beginning of December in 2004, the battle had become too much, and I decided to give up acting, figuring the best way to make the voices go away was to give up the reason why they were there in the first place. My teacher at the time, upon hearing my decision, stated that I was too talented to stop acting, and that he wasn?t going to let me quit. This is what you were meant to do with your life, Erick, he said. While that may have been true, I had no idea how to overcome the thoughts that were inhibiting me from performing to my capabilities. And that is when I got on the internet, found your website, and gave you a call.

We worked evening sessions together, 3 or 4 of them, I recall. Some times they were long, and I could tell by the look on your face after we finished that you certainly put some work in to change what was going on with me. The first couple days after the first session, I sensed something different. I was agitated at first. Not angry or frustrated, but just walking around sensing that something was different, and having no idea what. We continued with the sessions just before Christmas. By mid-January, I can't explain what it was, but the euphoric feeling that overcame me was incredible. I had energy, positive thoughts, and goals to fulfill. I remember asking myself why I was holding back?

February arrived, which is pilot season, and a very busy time for actors. I handled it well, having had some great auditions in front of important people that had never seen me before, and I certainly left the room knowing they saw my "stuff". It was easier to audition. It was easier to wait in the waiting room for an audition. Classes became fun. Everything fell into place the way things should when you enjoy doing something. Things never let up, and ultimately led to my booking the lead in a phenomenal play. My first leading role in a professional theater. The callback was 2 hours long, and I stood in that room strong, giving them what I had because I wasn't battling negative thoughts anymore.

I came back to see you one more time in July for a tune up, but now I am here, and the show is amazing. Am a superstar yet? No. Will hypnosis make me a superstar? No. Those things are out of everybody's control. What I discovered hypnosis did do, is something so easy to write that you may think it not important at all. After working with you, I stay present. It is so easy to stay in the moment and focused on what is I want to do, both on stage and off. I enjoy and observe the simple things in a way I never had before. I don't even have negative voices the way I used to, and if one or two pops up, they are easily dismissed. Sure I am going to make mistakes, and sure I am going to still feel a little butterfly when some famous Hollywood producer calls me into his office for a meeting. But that is just it, it's a simple mistake, and a small butterfly, that's all. My confidence is there, and I am still a work in progress, as it continues to grow.

Whatever it was that you said to my subconscious, allowed the "real" me to express itself. So for that, I can only say, "thank you."

I definitely am processing a whole lot of stuff. I'll just mention a few as I know you must have plenty else to do.
I definitely feel different. As if a part of me that was hidden is emerging.
I feel more present, in the "Now", as Ekhart Tolle puts it.
I get sleepy earlier and sleep peacefully throughout the night.
I'm enjoying the company of my family more. I'm more accepting and less judgemental.
There is a definite change in my feelings toward and my interaction with the man I've been seeing.
The intense need to be in contact with him and the fear of being without him are gone and it feels great!
I'm less apprehensive and more focused at work.

I've been okay. No bouts of rage or tears. Actually, I'm feeling more like a numbing or maybe a
